Conference & Reception Facilities...
Firthmoor Community Centre has rooms of all sizes available for hire – where better to hold your conference, meeting or event? Our four rooms and multi-purpose communal area can be booked from half an hour to a full day or more, with space for up to two-hundred people. We offer a range of facilities and guests will be catered for with tea and coffee refreshments and buffet-style eating or a meal in our cafe.
Whether you need a room for 30 minutes or a whole day we can help with your specific needs. We welcome enquiries for room hire for parties, meetings, corporate events or any other social or business occasion. This service is available to individuals and organisations within Darlington or from anywhere else in the North East region of the UK.
Multi Use Games Area...
The Multi Use Games Area is available for hire including evenings and weekends. Ideal for five-a-side football, netball, also available for parties.
The communal area of the building includes a large 150 square metres multipurpose room which can be divided into three separate rooms depending on the needs of the user. As well as being an excellent facility for hosting business and corporate events, the sprung flooring in the multi-purpose room makes it an ideal venue for dance, martial arts and similar activities.
Tables and chairs are included within room hire charges. The multi-purpose room can comfortably seat 50 people board room style, 90 people seated around tables (quiz night style) and 200 facing a speaker.
The building enjoys the benefits of on-site catering so all food is freshly prepared. Room hirers can enjoy coffee and tea, a meal in the cafe, or choose from a variety of buffet style catering options. Health conscious visitors will be pleased to note the cafe forms part of a healthy eating project and all meals and snacks are low fat and made from natural products.
